Weeks late - a few serene views of Lake Sammamish shot in November. It was a brisk, clear day, and Rainier was stunningly visible from a northern dock on the water.
In the early summer, my fiancé picked up a semi-impulse vehicle purchase (i.e. he thought about it for a few weeks, a short timeframe by his standards) in the form of the KTM 1290 “Super Duke.” I thought this was a lovely coincidence since the nickname for my car, a Lexus coupe we brought home from Oregon that spring, had been nicknamed “The Duchess” for months.
Here’s the Super Duke at golden hour, shot sometime October 2021 among Cascadian farmland.
What a quintessential northwest drive — always another vista, another surprise around each mountain road bend.
