SCRAPS AND SCRIBBLES
East of Seattle in Washington’s prime biking country is a town called North Bend. It’s one of my fiancé’s favorite spots for a half-day getaway, and sometimes I tag along. (I’m especially inclined to do so when I’m promised a meal at Twede’s, which fans of Twin Peaks might recognize as the Double R Diner from the show.)
It took me until deep pandemic quarantine to begin using my energy for good: picking back up with a project originally meant to have completed by now. Stay tuned ~
These days, with my work hours getting longer and daylight hours getting shorter, the cabin fever is very, very real. Super recommend combatting a case of it with short excursions to places of natural beauty. Pictured: Rattlesnake Lake at dusk.
